HOUSTON — After more than 20 years, Dave Froehlich is happy his career has finally led him back to his hometown of Houston, where he looks forward to reconnecting with family and old friends, as well as making some new ones.
Dave graduated from Eisenhower High School, then went on to The University of Texas, where he majored in history, and met his wife Mariah, who’s also a native Houstonian.
Dave got his start in TV working as a production assistant at another Houston TV station, but he was soon on the road, working in Grand Junction Colorado, Amarillo, Corpus Christi, Kansas City and Austin before coming back home.
Dave is an avid football fan who spent much of his childhood cheering on the Oilers at the Astrodome, and taking summer vacations to Oilers training camp! These days, he enjoys watching the Texans, Rockets and Astros, and of course his beloved Longhorns. He also loves grilling and, when he gets the chance, playing bad golf.
Dave and Mariah have a son in college and a daughter who will soon be on her way.
