David's Blog: March Weather Outlook

Long range forecast from NOAA suggest a mild March for Houston

According to NOAA's March outlook things should be rather mild overall with temperatures expected to be on average a little above normal here in Houston. I can't rule out one more freeze, but I'm going ahead with the spring garden.

NOAA's March rainfall outlook paints Houston in an area likely to have slightly above normal rainfall amounts. March is typically our driest month with an average of 2.4" of rain. July is the wettest month in Houston with an average of more than 5" of rain.
