Spring flowers went from zero to 100 mph this week. After a long cold winter it's nice to get a big spoonful of spring

After looking like a pile of dead sticks for the last 3 months, my wisteria chose this week to wake up. More like explode with purple flowers. We call it 'purple rain' season.


Azaleas are going bonkers too. Billye sent me this pic on facebook today from her yard.


And then there's this... At first we thought it was some sort of 'leggy' pink azalea. KHOU11 viewers called in and helped solve the mystery. It's a 'pink' magnolia. Thanks Bobbie for posting the pic!
