On April 18, The Dow Chemical Company held Houston Dow Live Earth Run for Water. The event, which began at Jones Plaza, was just one of a series of 6K run/walks taking place in various cities and countries around the world to help raise awareness of the global water crisis. With nearly 550 runners, the Houston event will contribute nearly $14,000 to help those without access to clean drinking water.
