Not sure if you got my husband’s e-mail about our bad situation last weekend. I was walking Chico and Charlie –the Harley boys’ and they were attacked by a Pitt Bull/Chow mix. Charlie the small Chihuahua that weighs all of 4 pounds was scathed by the ordeal. Unfortunately, Chico was not. He sustained injuries- torn muscle and tendons. While the dog had Chico’s back end in his mouth managed to rip 1” of his small intestines. We are now about $4300 into doctor’s bills. The people who own the dog won’t help with the bills. This dog got out of the fence which was not obviously able to hold that kind of dog. After the attack they put a tire against it. Go figure!!! Anyway, I did get bit but I believe it was my dog because it was a small bite. The owners’ didn’t even have the vaccinations up to date.
