Right after the cold spell and the rain, when it warmed back up, we started seeing these little seed floaties blowing over our house, yard, and beyond, many of them settling into the lawns. There are so many that the kids think it is "snow". It is coming from an overgrown and unkept field on the north side of Clay Road, just east of Fry Road. In our 5 years in this neighborhood, this is the first year we have seen them. We don't know what weed(s) it comes from. They fill the sky when the winds pick up from the coast and blow northward.
