The Village at Gleannloch Farms, an active aging community in Spring, Texas, held a great event yesterday. Global aging expert and past chairman of the National Council on Aging, Dr. W. Andrew Achenbaum discussed the benefits of a CCRC or Continuing Care Retirement Community.
The CCRC lifestyle allows seniors to age in place by offering a continuum of care from independent living through assisted living, skilled nursing and memory—all in one location. The Village at Gleannloch Farms wants to make sure seniors and their adult children understand the benefits of a CCRC as they assess their options. This event was open to the public and admission was free.
