While Yeny, is not MY mother, as my mom passed away years ago. I knew I had to enter the best mom I knew. She not only loves her children, But she differs from so many moms because she used to work for CPS looking out for the well being of our cities children. That alone takes a special person to deal with the ugliness and imperfections of the reality of some children's horrific stories. You have to be strong and motivated day after day to help these children as you struggle yourself in a job that is so understaffed.
After the birth of her second child she decided that she was going to become one of those super rare mothers that stay at home to raise their children.
Since she has been a stay at home mother I have gotten the pleasure of getting to know her more and more. Yeny has been a huge inspiration to me. Her mannerisms, peace, patience and the joy that radiates from her brings joy to the many lives she touches. Not only is she an AMAZING mother, and friend. but she has been a fantastic servant to the children of our community. Some might say she was a mother figure to those children that had nobody else looking out for them.
