Diana Miller held a petition drive and announced her candidacy for Sugar Land City Council at her home on historic Brooks Street. Supporters joined in the gathering on March 12th to protest increased high density construction proposals in their immediate neighborhoods. The minor league ball park in the adjacent historic Imperial Sugar Mill site combined with a request from the developer to build "high density, urban multi-family units" are set to destroy the family
