Residents of The Buckingham senior living community were recently treated to an exotic experience from the Columbian folkloric dance and song group, Marla Luisa de Moreno International Foundation. Wearing brightly colored custom clothing, the men and women brought to life Columbian traditions through song and dance. A few lucky residents even had the opportunity to join in a few conga lines and interact with the performers.
“The Maria Luisa de Moreno International Foundation put on a beautiful show for our community,” said Deborah Mahrt, lifestyles director for The Buckingham. “You could see and feel the passion behind each performance. Our residents truly enjoyed the experience of learning about a different culture.”
