My five year old was insistent on wearing her skates for halloween and in September posed the question: "Mom, what do you call the waitresses that wear skates to bring your food?" I replied with "carhop" not thinking anything of it. She said in a determined voice, "That is what I want to be for Halloween, a carhop." So we found and ordered a costume, strapped on her skates and she skated her way through a Halloween festival and two trick or treat trails. She didn't even fall.
