The Story of MyMinnieMee. I inherited a 5' mannequin years ago & decided about 4 years ago to get her down from the attic & dress her up for Halloween as my twin. My husband is a KJ & Entertainer in the area so we started bringing MMM (“MyMinnieMee”) to gigs. Folks would take her head off her body & want to take pictures of us becuz we looked so much alike. I decided to make her more transportable & gave her a baby doll's body-thanks to GoodWill. The photo is from last year at work where we all had a great time with her. We freak people out (Halloween, Christmas, Mardi Gras & Valentines) when we go to the gigs dressed similar. Last year at Halloween they had her laying on a chair, all covered with napkins & when I asked why, everyone just said that she was tired & wanted to take a nap! They knew I had dragged her to work with me all day and then out to the gig She is quite the celebrity here in Houston & even has a Visitor's Badge at work! We all speak for her which is just hysterical. This year MMM has new black leather boots, also thanks to GoodWill, that actually zip up so she is excited about them & showing them off with her BOO socks.We both will be witches this year and I found her a costume from there this year.I love the fact she creeps some people out cuz we look so much alike. Some people really won’t look at it her or us- like she is Chucky’s friend or somethin’! I'd like to video my shopping for her- with her. That would be too funny! We have a lot of fun & she is quite the socialite !! My alter ego has a very fun time with her!!
