Moschino, Marc Jacobs, Missoni oh my! Houstonians have a passion for fashion. The Great Day Houston Fierce Fashion Challenge sponsored by vitaminwater zero ™ is calling all aspiring local fashion designers to submit pictures of their best designs on KHOU.com. The winning designer will showcase their work “LIVE” on Great Day Houston!
To Enter: Click the Submit Now button. If you don't have a username yet, click Sign-Up! to register. You will receive a confirmation email to activate your new account. Next, Browse and attach a picture of your completed design along with a 150 word or less essay. Select the "Fierce Fashion Challenge" channel. Click Submit Story and you're entered!
Once finalists have been selected, a panel of judges will review the designs to check for wearability, originality and best overall design. Each criterion is worth a maximum of five points. Judges will tally the points and select one winner based on the previous criteria. Winner will be selected and notified no later than Tuesday October 26. Submissions must be completed online only.
KHOU will notify the winner and schedule an appearance on Great Day Houston. Challenge is open to legal residents of the Houston DMA who are eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry. The Houston DMA is defined as Trinity, Polk, Walker, Grimes, Washington, Colorado, Wharton, Jackson, Matagorda, Calhoun, San Jacinto, Montgomery, Liberty, Waller, Austin, Fort Bend, Brazoria and Galveston counties. Contestants must be 18 years or older and must not be employed professionally as a designer or fashion consultant.
