Klein Oak High School in Spring, Texas placed 3,000 American flags in the front lawn of the school to honor the men and women who died on September 11, 2001.
The 2nd annual project is sponsored by The Klein Oak Young Conservatives Club, a group made up of students who wish to better their school and community by promoting and inviting others to get involved in their government.
"It is truly wonderful to be part of something like this, something that inspires my school and community to be better Americans. We will never forget 9/11, and I'm more proud than ever to be part of this great nation," said senior Christine Cummins.
God Bless America!
