Baskin is a 2 year old Siberian Husky rescued by Husky Haven from the Houston SPCA. He was abused by someone in his past and when he came home would cringe when I would extend my hand to pet him. He would run at the sight of a brush, pull like crazy when walking and dig holes all over the yard. Since he adopted us February 20, 2010, both of us have changed for the better. Baskin no longer cringes when someone tries to pet him, he has stopped digging, enjoys being brushed and is very insistent when it is time to go for his walk. He wakes me up in the morning by jumping in the bed barking and nipping at me through the covers. He is a great friend and I love him very much.
