HOUSTON—Tropical storms are bad news, but the Houston area will actually benefit from Ida on Tuesday.
"We’re going to get a north breeze Tuesday – a nice north wind, which will just keep it gorgeous here," 11 News Meteorologist David Paul said.
And oddly enough, we’ve got Ida to thank for that.
Paul said we’ll reach a high of 80, but with the lower humidity and breeze, it will feel fantastic.
Lows will be in the 60s Tuesday.
And if you’re into that forecast, you’re in luck.
Paul said it will stay that way all week.
Expect sunny skies, highs in the upper-70s to low-80s and lows in the upper-50s to low-60s on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
On Saturday and Sunday, a 20-percent rain chance will creep back into the forecast, but the temps will stay the same.
