HOUSTON -- Early morning chilly temperatures along with light showers created a slight chance for sleet on Tuesday.
Most of the day will remain cold and wet heading into Wednesday morning, when there’s another chance for early morning sleet in our far northern counties.
“We’re barely getting into the 40s in our northern counties today,” said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
The forecast high for Tuesday is 44 degrees with a 50-percent chance of rain.
On Wednesday there’s a 40-percent chance of rain with a forecast high of 45 degrees. Early morning temps will be in the low-30s.
Thursday heading into next week looks a lot nicer -- no rain and temps in the 50s and 60s.
