HOUSTON—Thursday’s weather can be summed up in just one word: Perfect.
"It’s tough to stay in the office when the weather is this beautiful," 11 News Meteorologist David Paul said.
And how beautiful, you might ask? We’re talking sunny skies and highs in the mid- to upper-70s.
Nice.
The day got off to a slightly chilly start with lows in the mid-50s across the Houston area.
But by lunchtime, Paul said it will warm into the 70s and stay there.
Thursday’s projected high is actually a few degrees above normal, but with the low humidity, you won’t notice.
Friday looks to be a weather clone of Thursday, but then it will warm up a bit Saturday, Paul said.
That’s when the clouds come back in.
"Sunday night into Monday evening, we’ll get our next weather system and a rain chance as the front goes through," Paul said.
But after that passes, we’ll have even cooler highs in the upper-60s next week.
