Amazon and Catholic Charities are helping Hurricane Harvey victims get back to their normal lives and celebrate Christmas at the same time.
Madalina Barbu and her family received some necessities this week.
They went without food for three days after Hurricane Harvey hit their home in Houston as water flooded their apartment. Their youngest was just 6 weeks old at the time.
In all, Amazon delivered supplies to 40 families that are staying with Catholic Charities.
Barbu says that she and her family plan to rebuild their lives in San Antonio. She says that home is where the heart is.
“It doesn’t matter if you lose a house, a car, it’s important to have your family close to you.”
