HOUSTON — Humidity returned to Houston on Friday, leading us into a weekend with a chance for rain, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
There were some light rain earlier in the day, but most of the showers have dissipated. However, there is still plenty of humidity in the air.
“Tropical humidity will stay with us this weekend and mingle with a cool front from the north,” said Garner. “We won’t have a washout this weekend, but we do have about a 30-percent chance for scattered storms.”
Overnight temps will be in the low-70s throughout the weekend. Afternoon temps will peak at 91 on Saturday and 89 on Sunday.
The chance for scattered showers continues well into next week.
