HOUSTON – It will be chilly and partly cloudy on the first day of 2014 with a small chance for rain, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
“As we go into New Year’s Day, some of you may have to pop up an umbrella,” Paul said. “Rain showers will be off and on.”
On New Year’s Day there’s a 40-percent chance for rain with a forecast high around 60 degrees.
“I don’t think we’ll see the sun Wednesday,” Paul said.
Overnight temperatures will remain cold through the weekend, but in our daytime hours Saturday and Sunday we’ll be in the mid-60s.
