HOUSTON -- A strong thunderstorm brought hail to areas west of Houston early Wednesday.
One KHOU 11 News viewer reported hail in Kendleton in western Fort Bend County around 5 a.m. As of 6 a.m. the storm was moving into Brazoria County.
Elsewhere, rain was moving closer to Houston. Scattered showers will clear out by early this afternoon. There’s a 20-percent chance of rain through noontime, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
Our daytime high today will be in the mid-70s. Thursday we'll have a mix of clouds and sunshine with early morning temps in the low-50s and daytime temps in the 70s. Friday is a little warmer, bringing a slight chance for rain.
The clouds carry over into Saturday, but we'll still see a lot of sunshine as Sunday approaches. There's only a slight chance for rain this weekend as temps drop into the low-70s for a beautiful start to next week.
