HOUSTON – There was an unseasonal chill in the air on Thursday, but southeast Texas will warm up over the next few days, said KHOU 11 Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
“The warmer days are just a few days away, but we’ll have to wait at least another 24 hours for southerly winds to return and push the temperature closer to 80 degrees,” said Gomez.
This afternoon we’ll only top out around 60 degrees.
We’ll have more sun on Friday with morning temperatures in the upper-40s and daytime temps in the low-70s.
Saturday and Sunday will be closer to 80 degrees.
By the end of the weekend more clouds will move in as a new chance for rain is introduced for the start of the work week.
