HOUSTON -- It was a soggy and wet start to our Friday in the early morning hours, but the rest of the weekend should be pretty nice.
Most of the storm system that brough rain to the Houston area was well east of the city by 8 a.m. Only scattered showers will continue to move through until around noon, leaving us with clear skies later tonight.
You can expect highs on Friday to be in the 50s and some areas will reach the 60s.
Saturday and Sunday will be beautiful. We’ll have sunny skies with highs in the upper 50s.
New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day will be wet, so if you have plans to be out and about, make sure to take an umbrella.
