HOUSTON – Temperatures will continue to climb Thursday heading into the Easter weekend, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
The clouds thickened overnight, leaving us with temperatures in the 40’s and 50’s early this morning. Thursday afternoon we’ll top out in the mid-70s.
“We are under partly to mostly cloudy skies, and that’s going to be the case through about Saturday,” said Johnson. “The next system we’re watching is out west.”
The extended forecast warms us to the mid-70’s on Friday and Saturday. Sunday we’ll be in the low-80s. There’s a slight chance for rain all three days.
Another cold front heads our way next week, bringing us a good chance for rain on Tuesday and Wednesday. Daytime temps will drop back into the low-70s with overnight lows in the mid-40s.
