HOUSTON –- This afternoon we’ll top out in the mid-80s on a very muggy Wednesday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
There’s a 20-percent chance for rain today.
“Today is going to be the warmest day of the week,” said Johnson. “You’ll need to keep the umbrella handy tomorrow.”
On Thursday, there’s a 40-percent chance for showers during the day as a cool front moves through. Tomorrow will be a little cooler – in the mid-70s.
The cold front will cause the temperature to drop on Friday morning to the low 40’s. The high for the day is only 67 degrees.
After another chilly morning on Saturday, a warming trend begins and temps will near 80 degrees on Sunday and Monday.
