HOUSTON—Monday started out warm and muggy, despite a weak frontal boundary trying to give the Houston area relief from the humidity, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul.

“We will still be humid today, and I’ve had to add a 10- to 20-percent chance for isolated thundershowers this afternoon.”

The forecast high Monday is 94 degrees.

High temperatures the rest of the week will remain in the mid- to low-90s with a 10- to 30-percent chance of isolated showers. Keep an umbrella handy.

Tropical weather will also be a concern this week as Tropical Storm Isaac could be brewing by Wednesday near the eastern Caribbean.
