Houston forecast: Warm, breezy Wednesday

HOUSTON -- Overnight lows will be in the low-to-mid 60’s in southeast Texas overnight, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul. Scattered showers are possible during the day on Wednesday.

Areas east of 45, including Cleveland, Liberty and Livingston, will have the best chance for showers on Wednesday. There’s a 20 percent chance for rain. The high temperature in the afternoon is 84 degrees.

On Thursday, there’s a chance for showers during the day. After the rain moves out a cold front moves in during the late afternoon.

The cold front will cause the temperature to drop on Friday to the low 40’s. The high for the day is only 67 degrees.

After another chilly morning on Saturday, a warming trend begins and temps will near 80 degrees on Sunday and Monday.
