HOUSTON –- Calm winds and sunny skies will make for a slightly warmer Tuesday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

There’s no chance for rain in the seven-day forecast.

“We’re going to continue to warm on up,” said Johnson. “We’re going to stay dry all week with no big changes over the next seven days.”

In the early morning hours, temperatures were in the 40s across most of the Houston area. Temps today will top out around 70 degrees.

It will remain sunny heading into next week with afternoon temperatures hitting the mid-70s by the weekend.
