HOUSTON – We’ll see a lot of sun on Thursday, but things will remain on the cool side, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

“Temperatures started off this morning in the 30s and 40s,” said Johnson. “It’s time to grab that jacket as you head outside. By noon we’ll be in the upper-50s.”

Early morning temperatures for the next few days will be near freezing for our northern counties. This afternoon’s forecast high is 60 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

Another Red Flag Warning will be in effect today from noon until 5 p.m. when light, dry winds create a fire danger.

Friday’s weather will be just as nice but a couple degrees cooler.

This weekend a few more clouds move in, but Saturday will be chilly. The forecast high for that day is in the low-50s. Sunday is a bit warmer with a high in the low-60s.

Things warm up drastically on Monday when daytime temps will be back in the 70s.
