HOUSTON – Friday afternoon will be a bit on the muggy side and the first half of your weekend will be warm with a slight chance for rain, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“There’s no need for your jacket on this Friday, we’re going to continue to warm from here,” said Johnson. “It will be a cloudy and warm day with a chance for scattered showers.”
There’s a 20-perecent chance of rain Friday with afternoon temps in the low-80s.
On Saturday, there’s a 30-percent chance of rain, but the clouds should clear out later in the day as a cool front moves through overnight into Sunday. Daytime temps Saturday will still be on the warm side – in the low 80s.
Sunday is looking a lot nicer with clear skies and daytime temperatures in the upper-60s.
Next week is looking mostly sunny with daytime temps near 70 degrees.
