HOUSTON – While it may not officially be summer yet, we could see record temperatures again in the Houston area on Saturday, according to Meteorologist Mario said.
"It's the heat that will get us this weekend, if you're not careful that is," Gomez said.
Specifically, you can expect high temps reach about 98 degrees Saturday, which would beat the current record of 96.
On Sunday, we’ll have more of the same with highs near 99 and lows in the lower-70s. We’ll also see about a 30 percent chance of rain, Gomez said.
Temperature-wise, nothing changes on Monday, but Gomez said we will have a 20-percent chance for some scattered showers late in the day.
