HOUSTON -- Our best chance for rain and thunder will be Tuesday evening between 8 and 10:30 p.m., said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.

Fog is possible overnight Monday into Tuesday morning in areas near the coast. If you live inland, you shouldn’t have to worry about morning fog.

Overnight lows will be in the upper 60’s.

On Tuesday, highs will reach near 80 degrees during the day. You can expect spotty showers between the morning rush and noon. A few other showers are possible in the early afternoon, but it’s the evening hours when we have a threat of severe weather.

The temperature will drop into the low 60’s on Wednesday and Thursday. Lows will be in the 40’s through Sunday, but high temps will eventually reach 70 Friday through Monday.
