HOUSTON -- Early morning rain Thursday moved into the Gulf of Mexico leaving us with a beautiful afternoon, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
We’ll top out around 70 degrees today under partly cloudy skies.
“At high noon we were only at 65 degrees outside,” said Gomez. “The really good news is we are starting to get rid of this damp feeling, this humidity that we saw so much of yesterday.”
Friday looks to be mostly sunny with a high temp near 70 degrees.
The rain chance returns Saturday as daytime temperatures drop into the 50s by Sunday. There’s a good chance for rain all the way through at least next Wednesday.
