HOUSTON -- The bulk of the rain is moving out of the Houston area and into Louisiana, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul. However, we could have a little drizzle overnight.

Highs on Monday reached the low 70’s. The normal high for this time of year is 65, so most of the area was about seven degrees above average.

Overnight and into Tuesday morning fog will be an issue. Lows across the area will dip into the 50’s.

The fog will start around midnight and should begin to burn off after 7:00 a.m. Be sure to take your time as you’re heading out the door.

Tuesday will be a beautiful day with a mix of clouds and sun, and afternoon highs in the mid-70’s.

The rain returns on Wednesday with a 40-percent chance for showers.
