HOUSTON -- A severe thunderstorm watch for Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Grimes, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, Walker, Waller, Washington and Wharton counties was set to expire by 10 p.m. Sunday as rain moved out of the area.

A storm moved through southeast Texas in the early afternoon hours, bringing small hail to some areas north and northwest of Houston. There were no immediate reports of serious damage.

The heavy rain was enough to stop play at the Shell Houston Open in Humble. Play was set to resume at 6:30 p.m.

Our spring-like weather continues on Monday with an afternoon high of 80 degrees and a 20-percent chance of rain.

Cool daytime temperatures return Tuesday through the end of the work week with high temps in the 60s. The chance for rain will go away by Friday.
