HOUSTON—It isn’t an Indian summer, but it will feel pretty close with the possibility of a 90-degree October day in the forecast, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
Southerly winds and warmth are moving in and we’ll start noticing the increased humidity on Wednesday. By the weekend, it will feel more like late spring or early summer than fall, with humidity at 60% and climbing.
Highs today are in the low 80s—82 in the Woodlands, 83 in Houston and 82 in Pearland—and those numbers will continue to climb over the next few days.
We still have a few more weeks until the end of hurricane season and experts are currently tracking two disturbances, one just east of the Bahamas.
