HOUSTON -- We started our Thursday with a few sprinkles and overcast skies, but things will start to clear up later in the day, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
Much of the Houston area was in the low-50s in the early morning hours. This afternoon we’ll top out around 65 degrees under partly cloudy skies.
“Looking at the extended seven-day forecast we go from 60s and 70s today and tomorrow, and then we start to climb,” said Johnson. “By Saturday afternoon our daytime temperatures will be back in the upper-70s.”
On Sunday we’ll hit 80 degrees as a slight chance for rain returns.
Our temperatures will stay warm through next week with a chance of scattered showers through at least Wednesday.
