Houston forecast: Morning rain possible

HOUSTON -- Your morning commute will include a rain chance, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul.

Overnight, lows will be in the 60’s and clouds continue to thicken up across the state. You’ll wake up to periods of drizzle and light to moderate rain showers. By noon there’s still a chance for a few showers. The afternoon high is 81 degrees.

On Saturday, the high for the day is 79 degrees. Moving into the afternoon and evening, there’s a 30-percent chance for rain and thunderstorms. There’s a wind and hail threat associated with those storms.

It will get chilly as we head into Sunday afternoon and next week. Highs will be in the 60’s and lows will drop down to the 40’s.
