HOUSTON -- As we head into the end of the week, we could see some severe weather in our area, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul. The next two days, however, will be fairly quite.
Overnight and into Wednesday morning, temperatures will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Temps will warm up to the low 80s in the afternoon. There will be a mix of clouds and sun on Wednesday and Thursday. A few scattered showers are possible on Thursday.
Storms will begin to roll into southeast Texas starting Friday morning. Some of the storms will be strong to severe, and the threat will last through Saturday. There’s a 60 percent chance for rain and storms both Friday and Saturday.
We’ll get a break from the rain on Sunday with temps expected to be near 80 degrees with cloudy skies.
