HOUSTON -- There is a slight chance for a sprinkle or light rain in the coastal counties overnight, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.

Overnight it will be mostly cloudy with temps in the upper 50’s and low 60’s.

There’s a 20 percent chance for rain throughout the day on Friday, so expect mostly cloudy skies and a light shower or two. By 3 p.m. the temperature should reach 80 degrees.

Looking ahead to the weekend, there’s a significant chance for rain on Sunday. There’s a slight chance for showers on Saturday, with a high temp of 82 degrees with partly sunny skies.

Our 80 degree temperatures will continue through the next work week. With those warm temperatures come chances for rain each day.
