HOUSTON -- Highs were only in the 40s on the day after Christmas, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul.
The winds calmed down Wednesday afternoon; luckily they were not as strong as what we saw on Christmas Day.
Wednesday evening it’ll get cold in a hurry. The lows are expected to be in the high 20s. Tonight will be a good night to bring in any planted pots that you have outside.
As one storm exits, another is heading towards Houston and will bring rain on Friday. Before then, you can expect temps to be in the mid-50s on Thursday. That’s about 10 degrees below normal for this time of year.
Looking towards the weekend, Saturday and Sunday will be nice with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s.
