HOUSTON -- There’s a strong chance some thick fog will pop up around 7 a.m. Thursday morning-- especially in areas near the coast, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul. Please be careful when you’re heading out the door in the morning.

As for the rain, it moved out Wednesday evening.

Overnight lows will be in the 50’s in areas up north. On the south side, lows will hover around 60.

A southwest breeze warms us up to 78 on Thursday. We’ll have a mix of clouds and sun throughout the day.

Expect sunny skies and highs near 70 on Friday and Saturday.

Our next chance for rain is on Sunday. We could see a rainy day with similar conditions like he had on Wednesday.

The winter weather returns to the Houston area on Monday. Highs will drop into the 60’s for much of next week.
