HOUSTON—"This entire week is going to be a week to enjoy outdoors," said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

At lunchtime Monday, temperatures were hovering around 76 degrees. Highs will remain in the lower 80s and low humidity and strong breezes will keep things cool and comfortable.

If you suffer from allergies, today should also be your day with low levels of tree pollen, ragweed, grass pollen and mold spores.

Starting Wednesday, winds will start to shift out of the south and increase the humidity and temperatures for Thursday and Sunday. But the next front will arrive as soon as Saturday, bringing with it only a slight chance of showers.
