HOUSTON -- Wednesday is the first day of spring and the weather will be lovely, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul said.
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 12 a.m. Wednesday morning for Austin, Colorado and Washington counties.
Spring officially begins Wednesday at 6:02 a.m. The day will start off in the low 60s and then temps will reach the mid-70s by the afternoon.
Clouds will thicken Wednesday and Thursday. We also have a 20-percent rain chance on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The weekend should be beautiful with temps in the 60’s and sunny skies.
