HOUSTON -- We set a record high at Hobby on Thursday, said KHOU 11 News Meterogoloist David Paul. The old record was 78, but it was three degrees warmer reaching a new high of 81.
We’re seeing abnormally high temps this time of year; our normal highs should be around 64.
For those ready for a cool down, prepare yourself for one more hot day. There’s also a slight chance of rain on Wednesday. Paul said there’s a 30-percent chance of showers, and any precipitation during the day will be light.
A cold front moving in to our area Wednesday night will put an end to our warm weather. The high temperature on Thursday will be in the morning. As wind gusts pick up throughout the day it will be much colder at night.
