HOUSTON – Thursday marked the first day of cooler early morning temperatures, but our afternoons will still heat up into the 80s, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“It is going to be pretty much gorgeous for the rest of the week,” said Johnson. “We have low humidity and sunny skies in place.”
The forecast high for most of the Houston area Thursday is 87 degrees, only a couple degrees below normal.
There’s no chance of rain in the 7-day forecast, only clear to partly cloudy skies with morning temperatures in the 60s.
Fall officially begins Saturday at 9:49 a.m.
