HOUSTON -- A slight warm up is in store for this Easter weekend, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul. There’s a slight chance for one or two passing showers, but you don’t have to worry about the rain affecting your plans.
The clouds will continue thickening overnight.
In our northern counties, it’ll be in the upper 40’s and low 50’s overnight, while our central and southern counties will be just above 50 degrees.
We’ll have a mix of clouds and sun on Thursday. You’ll start the day with temps in the low 50’s, but it’ll warm up to the low 70’s in the afternoon.
The extended forecast warms us to the mid 70’s on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. As our normal temperatures return, we have a 20-percent chance for showers on all three days.
Another cold front heads our way next week. The high temps for Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the upper 50’s, while the lows are expected in the 40’s.
