HOUSTON -- Monday will make for a cool, breezy, and sunny start to spring break in southeast Texas, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
Another Red Flag Warning is in effect today for several northern counties. Dry wind gusts around 15 miles per hour will create a fire danger.
We’ll top out in the mid-60s this afternoon.
“Even though we are going to be cool today, we do have a warming trend,” said Johnson. “The end of this week is just going to be gorgeous for spring breakers.”
Tuesday our afternoon high will be around 70 degrees with early morning temps in the low-40s.
By this weekend we will be in the mid- to upper-70s.
There’s no chance for rain in the seven-day forecast.
