HOUSTON -- Saturday will be the best day to be outside this weekend, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul. Sunday will be a wet and rainy mess.
Clouds will thicken up across the state Friday night into Saturday.
If you’re heading out on the town Friday evening, the weather won’t get in your way. Temperatures will be in the mid-60’s. Overnight lows will then drop into the upper 50’s.
It’ll be mostly cloudy on Saturday. There’s also a 20-percent rain chance, but the afternoon high is 76 degrees.
Sunday will begin with a 40-percent rain chance. We’ll have scattered showers on and off through noon. The chances for rain increase in the late afternoon as a cold front moves through. The temperature will drop 20 degrees between 3 and 7 p.m. on Sunday. The rain will continue into the evening.
The high temperature on Monday is only 58 degrees.
Sunshine returns on Tuesday and will last through the rest of the work week.
